Important Update: Weather and Travel Notice for SnoKids & SnoParents
Hello SnoKids and SnoParents,
We are reaching out to share an important update regarding our lessons this weekend at Mount Pleasant. While we are excited to see everyone on the slopes, we want to ensure everyone stays safe and informed, given the current conditions.
Current Conditions & Travel Hazards

Extreme Cold: Temperatures at the mountain have plummeted and are rising more slowly than anticipated. Please ensure all skiers are dressed in extra layers and have proper face protection.

Increased Snowfall: Sunday’s snowfall totals have trended upward, particularly for those traveling from south of Mount Pleasant. This may create hazardous road conditions for our long-distance travelers.

State Travel Advisory: Governor Shapiro has discouraged all unnecessary travel across the region due to these conditions.
Lesson Schedule & Flexible Options
We will still host lessons this weekend as planned for those who are able to make it safely. However, we understand that the weather and travel risks may prevent some of you from attending.
To accommodate those who cannot make it, Mount Pleasant will offer makeup lessons with the following details:

Dates: Saturday, February 21st & Sunday, February 22nd.

Time: Makeup lessons will be held at the same time as your regularly scheduled lesson.

Format: These will be held in a group lesson setting.

Staffing: Please note that these makeup sessions may not necessarily feature the same instructor or the specific group from the regular 6-week program.
Safety First
The safety of our SnoKids and their families is our top priority. Please use your best judgment when deciding whether to travel this weekend. If you choose to join us, please take extra precautions on the roads and gear up for the cold!
